Robert Pascual, MBA
As a financial professional in the not-for-profit sector since 1993, I have a broad range of experience with a wide variety of organizations.  My experiences as staff leader, board member, consultant, and educator have provided me with the opportunity to understand the responsibilities and challenges of ensuring the long-term sustainability of organizations from several perspectives and to develop ways to share financial concepts and information in a meaningful and accessible manner.  In addition, my work with organizations ranging from start-up to well-established, from less than $100,000 to over $10 million budgets, from community-based direct services to foundations, and from local to international has allowed me to broaden and deepen my knowledge of how to develop and implement relevant and responsive financial management systems.
Background
I received an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the George Washington University.  I have served as the Director of Finance at the Bay Area Video Coalition and the Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center, Director of Administration at Arriba Juntos, and Administrative Manager at the International Institute of the East Bay.

In addition to my experience in the not-for-profit sector, I worked in the financial services industry for 10 years as a retail, operations, and investment manager.  I also am an an Associate Professor at California State University - East Bay.

My volunteer work includes having served as a Board member and Treasurer with Mission SF Federal Credit Union.
